We lost our beloved Pookie last night.

He was 16 and suffered an awful seizure that would not stop. We rushed him to the ER vet. He was so weak. He passed peacefully in my arms on Boogie’s birthday.

We rescued this needy little man at the age of 13. Pookie was blind, deaf, unwilling to be left alone and enjoyed waking up at 2am, stepping in his water bowl and then peeing on the floor if not carried out to the grass within one minute

He pranced around the yard always on the move.

A funny unique determined little man

It was not always easy but it made my heart full to give him a loving home in his final years.
